Dr. Awad seems more than capable, but youll need to exercise patience.The worse part of a dental visit that requires drilling is the initial injections to start the numbing process. Ive seen a few dentist and this process along makes me hesitant to get work done. However, Dr. Awad has a mastery of this that Ive never encountered. While it feels like other dentist are trying to insert the needle into a bone or something, she seems to always find that spot that causes nearly no discomfort. Thats great!So now my experiences that causes the reduction of stars.. My last visit was to redo a filling that was causing me more discomfort than the tooth did prior to knowing I had a cavity. During the process, of course she removed everything and opened the tooth back up so it could be refilled. During this process, I found myself forcing my tongue to the back of my throat trying to prevent the mixture or water, tooth, and filling material from choking me. Of course this was a natural defense. However, Dr Awad didnt see it as that and decided that this reaction was why the first filling needed to be redone. This was the first of three teeth shed filled but the only one that was an issue. After getting her to stop for a moment to dispose of all of what I was trying to block and telling her I was choking, she advised me that the suction is there to keep the things away from my throat. Before I could respond, she put me in timeout, like a child, and said we take a break now and left me to attend to someone else. Maybe 20 minutes later she returned to finish. What she couldnt see or didnt want to was that I was having the issue because the suction wasnt being used to remove the waste. Of course, with my tooth wide open, I had no choice but to wait until she returned to finish.One a prior occasion, after doing what she called a temporary filling on a tooth, I was supposed to come back to have it addressed with what I understood as a 3D printed tooth cap (maybe thats over-simplifying). Well, each of my first two visits to do this were repurposed or rescheduled after I arrived and was taken to the back. The last two times, thankfully were rescheduled by a call or text the day before so I didnt make a blank trip. However, I have not yet had this procedure, due to my hesitancy to return following my last experience.My opinion:I believe she is attempting to service too many patients at a time. Between me and my son, we each started with 2 scheduled visits to address cavities. For me, each visit was scheduled for two cavities each. For my son, one visit for two and one for a single cavity. In no visit was both cavities taken care of. Only one and then we were rescheduled to address what was left. Each time this happened was due to the time... I know we would sit 30-75 minutes past our appointments before we were seen, so it wasnt us that delayed things.Where I stand now:Outside of needing to be flexible with scheduling, the length of the visits, and what I felt was a poor response/reaction during my last visit, I though everyone was nice and professional. The hygienist that did my cleaning was great and thorough.

My first visit to West Nassau Dental Care was fantastic. I have never experienced a more easygoing appointment. The care and knowledge of my hygienist Laura was top-notch. All of the staff are very kind. I am so relieved to find such great care for my family’s dental needs so close to home.

I came in for a second opinion. Another place further in town (Jacksonville) priced me $7k ($15k for my whole dental adventure) for my front top seven teeth. Without any type of sedation, only topical numbing and gas. I have terrible dental anxiety. Kelsey and the Doc took me in, made sure I was comfortable, went over EVERYTHING in detail, told me their process, and I paid less than $1k for my same front top teeth versus the $7k. Hands down best place I’ve been too. They have gained a lifetime patient 💛

43 year old man who went in for Root canal and was scared lol. Everyone was very nice and the inside is very clean dont let the outside fool you. I was worried about the pain and they numbed me up good, I literally felt nothing. It was way better then I thought. Highly recommend these ladies they take care of you the right way 10-8-24 before the hurricane

I had not been to the dentist in many years due to a hand injury that required me having multiple surgeries, so my mouth was neglected and literally I have so many issues. I was hesitant about any dentist because I wasn’t really familiar with any . I made the decision to go to see Dr. Awad, and it was the best decision I made as far as dental care. She has amazing bedside manner or should I say chair side manner , she goes above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable. On my very first visit to her she did the work that was scheduled and I happened to mention that my son was getting married that weekend, and I had an old old crown that had fallen off so she voluntarily put a temporary crown on that tooth so that when I went to the wedding, I could smile, and not have to worry about showing a gap. My second visit was today I had extractions and a dental implant placed. She is very concerned about how you’re feeling and makes sure that you are comfortable, and making sure that you are completely numb before getting started. She has an awesome personality and she’s very funny. She made me laugh many times.. Her assistants are equally as kind and concerned as Dr. Awad is. I don’t know very many people that are fond of going to the dentist, but I would suggest that if you are in need of dental care that you go to this office because Dr. Awad is all around amazing. I have worked in oral surgery for many years of my life, as well as in cosmetic surgery, so I am particular about doctors and their mannerisms and how they treat patients . Dr Awad’s office definitely has my vote for the best dental experience I’ve ever had.

The entire team was so amazing! I am generally anxious when I go to the dentist, however, Dr. Awad made me feel comfortable. She did an excellent job with my dental treatment. I was quick to notice that she is passionate about dentistry and her patients. Go check them out, you won’t regret it.

I had to have a tooth extracted and i was overwhelmed with how nervous i was , almost postponed it several times but Carolyn at the front desk sweetly bit sternly encouraged me to take care of the painful abscess.The dentist was extremely patient with me , she took her time and explained the entire process .Thank you 😊 and I’ll see you soon to remove the sutures .

I highly recommend West Nassau Dental Care. Jill the receptionist always so kind and makes me feel like family. I’ve had both Christina and Abbey as hygienist and they’ve always made sure I was comfortable and cleaned my teeth really well. Dr. Phlyn is also takes the time to explain everything to you and answers all your questions.

I had a good experience at Black Creek Dental. I am not very fond of going to the dentist but Dr Flynn was caring and took the time to explain to me several times my options and explaining each option. I was satisfied with the outcome of the work done on me☺️. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere felt like a home. Great job Black Creek workers🙏🙏🙌🙌🦷🪥👍.

Another great visit with Ms. Jill, Ms. Carolyn and of course the greatest hygienist Ms. Laura. From check in to check out they are wonderful. Ms. Carolyn making sure my paperwork was up to date, Ms. Laura making the process painless and Ms. Jill tapping my pockets on the way out, lol. Honestly, this is the best dental clinic in NE Florida. See y’all in 6 months.

Dr. Award, is very gentle and kind. She is throughly and does excellent dental work . I trust her with all my dental needs. The entire staff was caring and provided excellent communication with me durning my visit.

Great experience..unlike two chain dental offices Ive been to, they intentionally saved me $ instead of trying to find things to charge me for. Hygienist and Dentist both thorough and professional. You will like them.

Very glad you got me in quickly to replace a crown that came off this morning at breakfast. I fortunately did not swallow it and the tooth underneath was not decayed. So got my smile back on the same day. Thanks again for the wonderful service.

Excellent service from start to finish…enjoy having my teeth cleaned and was not disappointed one bit…have had a different hygienist every time which was ok but it appears that I will be able to have the same one every time…excellent job and sed you in January…

They suck!!! I paid them $2770.60 and all that they did was give me a black eye and a set of dentures that didnt even fit at all!!! Dont go to this dentist... They suck super bad!!!!!!!!!!
